Went on a tour of the North West this weekend and ended up in Blackpool. On the South Pier there is a nice suite of pins but in a neglected condition. Was pretty disappointing out of a suite of six only one was fully fictional (Hook). they look like they have been imported as have $ and Euro symbols on.

50p Play (most swallowed coins too so beware!)

Looks can be deceiving!!

That's what I thought and looks a good setup on approach.

Shame 5 out of 6 are turked. Weird, because although it's not a top-notch line-up it's not a row of duffers either. Couldn't have been cheap, but if they don't play well they won't fill with coins and fairly quickly the op will pull them and replace with... pushers and cranes, because those things earn money for goddam unknown reason...?

i played the Lost in Space. for about an hour couple of weeks ago got my name on the high score board
would have liked to take it home only one not switched on at the time was the hook

I'm sure if the coin mechs were fixed or converted to UK coins and a bit of tlc to the play field the pins but be a good money maker. I wonder if there are any more pins in ye old Blackpool??

Hi Guys

It's been a while since I got my teeth into pinball's but I can assure you work is progressing well on bringing some of these classics back to a good standard of play. Multi coin mods , repairs and lighting upgrades currently in progress. Watch this space. ;-)

Nice to hear.... plus see another pinball guy in my neck of the woods (moved from Freckleton to Out Rawcliffe last year).

good to hear they are being looked after. I played them about a month ago and although they worked there were a few issues with them. il look forward to another visit when were back in blackpool in a few weeks.
