Expired Backglass valuations

Hi, I have a couple of backglasses I no longer need so was looking for a valuations please.


Xenon with a few bubbles on the paintwork.

Also a data east Star Trek in good condition.

Tricky with backglasses - if you are desperate for one for a game then they are priceless to you , but if not .....

there were a couple of xenon's on ebay last year with crap flaked off backglasses,not sure if anyone on here bought them,but it is a rare one so gotta be over £100 i'd have thought if the back is ok,DE star trek probably half that on a good day,repo's are avaliable of that one

sorry, after initial excitement, I passed at £150, after seeing the back, it's much worse than i was hoping for, poor thing been exposed to some cold weather i think, if anyone has a nicer one for sale, doesnt have to be perfect then please let me know, I want to buy, especially if you are going Blackpool play on 10th Februray, Im also after an Eight Ball deluxe backglass.

Wow, I didn't realise that glass had such a big translucent area they are tricky to touch in but a strip of theatre lighting gel would mask the scratch. Don't even think I'd bother triple thicking it as the ripples look solid.

the small scratch is easy to paint in, you should see some of the early Williams ones we've done, before and after restoration, and much better than attaching coloured films. the Bally bubbles are the tricky part, and if you dont do something about them you risk accidentally touching the bubbles and having the ink crumble and flake away, what i do is slice them with a scalpel, inject clearcoat, then flatten them down, then touch up all areas needing a bit of paint, then clearcoat the whole thing, you will still be able to see where the bubbling was, you can't do much about that, but it will look a lot better than seeing the bubbling or worse still loosing the ink alltogether if you accidentally touch it or brush past it.

The top 2 convex mirrors are also cracked, anyone got any of them for sale ?

As no one has had anything good to say about the backglass I guess I will just keep it and hang back on the wall.

I guess at some point when some one is desperate and is happy just to have a glass that’s missing it will come in use.

I'm Still looking for a better Xenon backglass, will offer a decent price for a good one, or will settle for one in this sort of condition but for considerably less than £150, Blackpool 1 week away, so possibility if anyone down South has either Xenon or EBD for sale and travelling up North let me know, can meet on route and pay cash. if anyone has a nicer Xenon for sale, doesnt have to be perfect then please let me know, I want to buy, especially if you are going Blackpool play on 10th Februray, I am also after an Eight Ball deluxe backglass and Centaur playfield.

I already decided I wasn't buying yours as its too far away and too expensive, i'm waiting for someone to offer me the parts I need at reasonable prices and be travelling to Blackpool Expo on 10th / 11th February so i can collect.
i offerd you £80 for yours but only if i'm passing while buying a machine, which i'm not for the forseable future as i have too many machines to complete and get sold at the moment.

put it back on your wall, or back in the garden shed, from where it most likely came
offer it for valuation again once the ink starts flaking off.

I'm looking for any condition, any price , anywhere in Europe, all offered backglasses will be considered based on price/location/condition and whether the seller is going to Blackpool Expo this coming weekend. I currently need a Xenon and an Eight Ball Deluxe also Pinbot and Bride Of Pinbot if they are the glass versions and not the translites. I will be still wanting these 4 backglasses after 11th feb 2018 , however it would be very convenient if a seller has what I need and is travelling to Blacxkpool Expo.
