Back Box Lock For Bally Space Invaders

I bought a lock but it does not lock. Seems to short. Was there a specific lock?

A shop in Texas has reproduced a

Bally/Midway Long CamBack-box Latch​

Not sure you need to buy in from the states, plenty of cam locks on eBay and Amazon that are suitable, just get the longer (inch and a bit long) 7/8 is the hole size

edit. Just realised it’s for the backbox not the coin box You want.

pretty sure that same part is used on any double glass machine from that period,i:e vector.xenon as well,is it the latch part you need or the actual lock?

Latch. I read after I drilled it out that to drill shallow so not to shatter the latch
I've ordered two. One for my SI and one that @astyy wants as a secret santa for Vector I think, from the guys in Texas. But handy for the wider audience that we have a supplier in the UK.
