Wanted Auto Plunge Alignment Nut and Pin?

As seen on the right side, I imagine there’s supposed to be one on the left too? The plunge will occasionally seem out of alignment and wondering if it’s because this is missing?

Have you had a look at the diagram in the manual? If you haven't got one it should be on the internet pinball database

By the looks of this, it shouldn't have one... so it is allowed to slop about a bit?
