As per title, anyone have an auto eddy board for sale? Needing one for my crate in scared stiff. Mine does work if i stick a screwdriver in and adjust it but i have done this quite a few times now so would rather replace it if i can find the automatic board rather than faffing about adjusting it all the time.

Thanks,
Jason.

Seems to be a shortage of these since pinbits no longer exists. is there much call for these?

WPC Generic Proximity Sensor Board. The eddy sensor board used in Star Trek TNG, Theatre of Magic and Scared Stiff.
Repro of the original, so no Auto i'm afraid.

Thanks Paul. If I cant find an auto one then I might give this a go and see if it holds the setting longer than the one I have just now. I am adjusting mine every 3 months or so at the minute.

It should do. When you adjust it, does it end up back in the place it started (The variable) or a completely new place? If the same, might just need a squirt of servisol (or similar) switch cleaner...

Its in the same place. When I adjust it, I only need to move it by 2-3 millimetres to get the light on and then move it back 1 millimetre to get the light to go off. That works fine for a couple of months then I need to repeat the process.

your ones work fine on my Monster bash Davey, what problems?

It's the B setting that wasn't working, can't remember specifically what games that covered (rs maybe?). All the A games (Tom included) worked fine. If I spent another half day on the circuit I'm sure I could work it out but other stuff has just gotten in the way.

Like on ToM and other games - CHANGE THE POT - SAVE YOUR CASH !

This board is old and it is the only part that fails.

Switch cleaner wont get into a lot of sealed (or semi sealed) pots.

They will last years if you do this.

Too busy making your Godzilla millions 🤣 shower us lowly peons with some Bally/Williams love. P.S. After Glow GI please!

Just to close this thread off, ordered the one i linked above. Including delivery it worked out at £69…..although Brexit tax might kick in. I have got lucky the last 3 times i ordered pin2dmds from terranigma in Australia so hopefully my luck with Australian imports remains.

At time of posting, the seller has 2 more left if anyone else is looking for one.

Thanks to all who replied.
