Are there even any pictures of Wonderland? Don't know how much that RAZA costs but I'm pricing it @ $1500. No way near enough in that by todays standards.
The website is all bit weird, I thought? Lots of mumbo-jumbo waffle about how brilliant the artwork and design is but not a lot of photos of the goods, i.e., a real pinball machine. As a web developer I find the site just awful to use. It looks very swish but the usability it terrible. Things that look like links aren't, lots of gateway pages, new windows and timed re-directs.
I had to send an email to "unlock" the KISS pages to which John Popaduik replied saying it was now open (judging by comments on their Facebook page it's just been unlocked for everyone):
There are then 5 sub-pages for CONCEPT, ARTWORK, SKETCHES, BUILD and THE GAME. The only picture I can find of the playfield is on the BUILD page and it's a close-up of the upper playfield pop bumpers. Sure the playfield is the most important part of any game? The outside could be plain white but if the game is good it wouldn't matter. No amount of facy artwork can rescue a dull game. I thought JP was a bit of a legend, so sure these games are likely to be good.
I'm pretty sure I read on one of the pages somewhere about the KISS license being awarded to Stern, but I can't find it now. Perhaps the pages have been updated?
For a company trying to sell pinballs I find it very odd there aren't any pics of RAZA, AIWP or MG. Am I missing something obvious?
Two company's going into battle over a KISS license I find very strange in 2014! I expect if you check the Stern section on pinside you'll see that it's confirmed or a rumour.
Recently I've began to wonder if they really think the main pinball market is aimed @ 40-70 year olds that are into heavy metal and all things from the dead (zombies).
