On Neil and Scott’s last podcast they mentioned the Pin Snake and first I thought I was in the wrong podcast, but it is a real thing and looks cool

Just wondered if anyone has one yet and if they are any good?

Nice, a bit pricey but if it saves you taking your Pin apart for a quick clean it could be worth it. Postage from America would kill it though. Maybe one of the UK Pinball shops can stock them?

I don't have one but UXM has made me think about getting one. I can usually reach most areas either just feeding a cloth through carefully or with one of those foam swap sticks but UXM has several tough to reach areas.

Haven't watched the podcast yet but couldnt you use one of the kids ones and mod it?

I got one from @Graham Lowe who did an order for 3.
He also got an extra pack of microflbre towels which we split and it worked out at £43 each which included shipping.
No duty when it got here which was a bonus.
I've had it 3 weeks and still need to give it a try but certainly will be a time saver that's for sure.

I use 14 inch curved artery forceps with a sponge or cloth clamped in. Gets to all of the awkward parts no matter what.

Only problem is they're over £300 a pair bought new.

Definitely something that could be 3d printed for no more than a tenner.

People do buy some expensive tat.

I guess the sellers are thinking that someone who can lay out over 8k on a new pinball machine, they can spend another £40 on a kids toy :D because it's branded as a pinball mod

I picked one up from Chicago expo, yes a little pricey but definitely helps get to those hard to reach places. One thing to note is it’s hard to get any kind of pressure further to the end when it’s far into the channel your cleaning/waxing

Defo recommend picking up a few spare microfibre wraps that come with them. I’ll use one for cleaning, one for putting wax on and then one for final polish.

Highly recommend and does save taking your pin apart from those full clean and waxes
