Any Jack*Bots on location/near London?

We've currently got a PinBot here and are really curious to play a Jack*Bot.

Does anyone have one near London that they'd be happy for me to come over to play? And, otherwise, does anyone know of a Jack*Bot on location?

Had both in the past - although using the same playfield Jack*Bot bot feels surprisingly different to play. I'd say Pin*Bot wins out with its old skool 80s charm and no nonsense objectives, though Jack*Bot probably holds interest longer with its 90s ruleset ...and with Casino Run it has one of the most fun modes in 90s pinball.
Both far more interesting games than Bride - which has a killer party trick with the metamorphosis but little else.

Yeah, that's the thing. I really enjoy the layout of PinBot, and the little boys absolutely love it, but feel it would be better if it had 90s-era rules. As we'll need to move the PinBot on at some point due to temporary space issues, I was thinking of trying to replace with a Jack*Bot when we get more space. Thing as, as you say, I suspected the Jack*Bot gameplay may feel very different due to the different rules, and I also know it has saxophone music rather than the quaint "funny noises" (as my two year old puts it) - so have no idea if I'd actually like the same layout with a different ruleset and sound effects.

I don't like Bride at all. I've played three different Brides on location (inc. with the Dutch Pinball 2.0 ruleset), and get bored within a couple of plays. It seems to only have one shot/main objective and, once you've flipped the face, there isn't much more to it.

I'm looking for pinbot to go next to bride . I was promised a tidy one a few years ago so broke up my very manky project one and then it didn't materialise. I don't like jackbot as it doesn't have the coolness of the other two. Just my opinion obviously!

Jackbot is def the cheesier of the trilogy , the space casino theme and accompanying easy listening cosmic lift jazz music not to everyones taste :D.... but all things considered I think I found it the most fun to play, and prob the one I would choose to have again.

Mines on location in Astro City in Southend so probably a bit of a trek for you, think It needs a little attention though as haven't been able to get there for a while. I personally love Jackbot, casino run is one of my all time favourite wizard modes too, the music is like a super cheesy 90s gameshow its great

I'd probably keep the PinBot if someone wrote new software for it - like the Dutch Pinball Bride of PinBot 2.0 or Rudy's Nightmare.

Unfortunately, I doubt any software would work on the version we have as it's a Spanish clone.

Oh, excellent! Southend's not a trek at all and I'm sure the British Lift Appreciation Society, Junior Division, would be up for another trip (or ten) on the Cliff Lift (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Southend_Cliff_Railway). As well as on the modern lifts that go up and down to the beach...

Well, here’s hoping it’s working, because we’ve got a trip planned for Saturday (with visits to the Cliff Lift and Pier Train for the Flipper Beast/Pi-Bo Wizard) 🤞
