Just posting this up initially on behalf of my daughter who is looking for ways to generate income and help support her student life as she heads into her 3rd year at Uni, but is unable to currently earn anything from the bar and hospitality work she normally does on a regular basis.
She's been developing her digital sketching and drawing skills and has had a few small commissions. As part of her practice she sketched up an interpretation of my Indy 500 (in the framed image below) and gave it to me as a present with an appropriate tag line!
I suggested there might be other people interested in similar style images for their machines, so there might be a market for her to create impressions of more machines and sell prints. She added the Ataack from Mars as a 2nd example/experiment.
Hence this post to see if there might be a market?
By default prints could be supplied on very high quality A4 paper (as was mine), possibly with frame, but with the benefit if a father (she generally seems to think their are few benefits to having mr as a father!
) running a sign business with access to 2 very high quality large-format printers she could also get them made up as posters or rigid prints at any paper size or up to 1.5m X 2m or so (possibly too large for most homes!)
Let me know if there might be any interest (and also any thoughts on specific machines people might be interested in) and if there is I'll post up thread in 'FOR SALE'
