I'm looking at taking advantage of the Special Jubilee bank holiday weekend by holding 4 days of tournaments (probably a total of 7 tournaments, 2 per day with only 1 on Sunday to allow people to get away at a sensible time).
I just need to see if there's sufficient interest in such a meet...?
Start date: Thursday 2nd June Time probably 9 am (!) Finish Sunday 5th June, once you're knocked out of the final tournament.
Maximum of 40 people each day with priority given to those that can attend all 4 days, then 3 days, 2 days, then a single day.
A suggested cost of £25 per day, which might include a sit down cooked meal (if I can find a reasonable supplier for the right money) and a tiny trophy for the tournament winners.
This will be hard core tournament play like that found at Bulls and Balls in Germany. Tournament in the morning, a break for food and then another tournament in the afternoon/evening. I hope to shut around 8pm each night but that will be dependant on how late each tournament is running.
Tournament formats from any of the following:
Flip Frenzy
4 player matchplay
Head to Head
Best score
Pingolf
I will be aiming to have 100% TGP for the tournaments.
A mix of main and classic machines.
Like I say, just gauging interest at the moment to see if it's feasible or not. So add your name (and number of days) to the list if you're up for it.
