Amsterdam pinball

It’s a great venue, must have been there half a dozen times over the years. It’s only about 15 minutes walk from Central Station over the canals.

Now I'm talking ancient history here but if I remember correctly, doing anything that requires pin sharp motor reflexes and good co-ordination skills after having a little puff would mean that these pins have not had that much serious gameplay. Just watching the lightshow and the pretty colours would be far out, maaaan

It did add a slight twist 😤🤨

Think I went there a few years back; I think all the machines were on free play? Think it might've been the first time I got to play a TWD so was really chuffed.
This was pre-discovering Flipout and so I remember scouting out anywhere that had pins - my GF at the time was sweet enough to hang out at Spirit for a bit and then at the pinball museum in Rotterdam the next day.
Long overdue to visit again - maybe a group trip is in order? :D

View attachment 152606Found a nice little spot in Amsterdam for pinball if anyone is planning on visiting

I love Holland, going a lot to the North for the last Ten Years and I think there is a place also near Alkmaar which is so close to Egmond on Zee (best beach) and this is defo on my list now with IM there. May even try the coffee too :-)

Thanks for posting this.

We were hoping to go to the Netherlands next year to visit the Dutch Pinball Museum and, also, to take my little boys to Kinderdijk by Bakfiets as they really like the nursery song 'Windmill in Old Amsterdam'.

Now I will have that song in my head for weeks........Thanks :)

I went there a few years ago, I don't remember them being free play. Definitely played a Munsters there but don't remember much else 😂 other half was smoking... 😳

It was 1 euro per game or 2 euros for 3 games
Still the same price. ACDC has a sling arm popped out the rubber, and munsters+im have a misaligned flipper. Shrek's right flipper is sticking. Imdn and twd play ok flippers feel a bit floppy compared to home.

Maybe later in the week I'll visit ton ton club as mentioned in the other ams thread...
