So I'm sat here looking at my torn down Rollergames and wondering what to do about the cabinet. I found that Planetary Pinball have got the RG cab decals now so I'm probably going to work on this game soon.
I've 2K clear coated cabinets before, and I've done my fair share of cabinet decals as well, but does anybody know if its a good/bad idea to clear coat over a cabinet with decals? Like totally sealing them in under a thick coat of clear.
I really want this game to turn the best it can be and just wondering if anyone has a game or has heard of this being done on a game before? How well it has held up etc? The RG cab artwork is pretty simple with just the logo down the sides on black, so maybe I could paint cab black, cut out the logo from the decals, centre it, and then clear over the top. Lots of coats to smooth it out.
This is all just random new ideas floating around in my head, so wanted a few opinions before I do anything stupid.
