Hi Guys,
Probably opening a 'can of worms' here, but, I was wondering what anyone thinks of either :-

A) applying backboard and sideboard decals
B) Mirror blades and perhaps backboard decal
C) leave as is

Should I set up a poll ?

PIctures of any of the above mods would be good!

I like both A and B :) I've got chrome mirror blades and will get a backboard decal for mine when I finally get around to restoring it.
 
I have backboard decal on my TAF, also bookcase decal and thing box decals look great, like they should have been there from the start.
Thought about getting sideboard decals too, if they're easy enough to fit.

They're not fitted to my TAF yet :) I've been collecting up bits for the last year or two for when I eventually get round to restoring mine, the mirror blades are still sealed up in the package they came in. Got on the CPR list for TAF playfields so when that finally arrives I should be able to start!

I have the bookcase and target decals fitted. Plus lights in the swamp, chair and bookcase holes. Then a light illuminating the bookcase and a blue into red strip across the back.
Then a blue light under the cab and a strip keeping the cloud glowing when it not flashing.

I haven't fitted the mirror blades yet either.
 
I have upgraded the speakers. That is it. On addams you might get away with a touch up job as the art is mainly black and doesn't have the dreaded red or yellow in it

i would also change the ramp form smokey to clear,just so you can see the sides abit more clearer!!
 
That backboard decal is pretty rare these days, long since discontinued, if anyone wants the decal sets they can come to me direct for a forum discount, way better than mirrors IMO (those things just don't make any sense to me but such is taste) I would go for bare unmodified cab over mirrors all day long :D
 
Well it was my first machine and I have got all of the above and more, Bling Bling and Bling!!! I like the mods and it is all to taste, the mirror blades I think look nice but are not really practical as no matter how careful you are you end up scratching them a little when you lift the playfield and I did fit the felt to the edge of the pf, if you don't like em you can always take them off.
So as well as most of the above I did the colour DMD, polished chrome side rails, hinges and lockdown bar, PDI glass, Uncle fester in the chair, lurch limo and a vault light which illuminates it red or green when lit, Chrome flipper buttons and Flipper cab protectors which say The Addams Family and maybe a few more, who knows!
I will post some pics tomorrow but it was at Manchester if you played it, before it broke!!

Decal sets sounds good, how much? All I need now is to find/buy me a TAF :)

the sideboard decals are about £40 rear £25 ish I think ???

You been checking out the WH20 shop log out matey - its starting to look good!!! will be getting back to it soon after the winter break!
