So yesterday i was meeting a friend in London, I suggested a visit to pipeline as i had seen that they are about the only bar in London with pinball.
As i am starting a new collection, i thought i would enjoy playing games and hope to find a game i really liked to then hunt out for myself !
So got the tube to Liverpool street, Pipeline is just a few minutes walk from the station.
The website makes it out to be a rock / student union kinda place... although in reality it was much different.
Really big open plan bar with lots of comfortable seating, they serve american style dogs, burgers etc. They also have a japanese menu.. We didn't eat as had other plans.
Staff were friendly, big selection of beers etc...
Nice Wurlitzer jukebox, a few big screens, and 4 pins.
The line up was: Twilight Zone, AC/DC, world cup football and i can't remember the fourth !
Sadly Twilight zone, which i was most interested to play was not working :-(
The other games were ok, in reasonable order... we liked the AC/DC machine the best, lots going on, full led upgrade, and some massive vibration through the floor when certain features activated !! it was great, although a little bright at times !
games were £1 a go on all machines except AC/DC which offered 3 credits for £1
not a bad place, i would revisit if in the area but would not make a special trip there again
Any other suggestions of good places to go to play pins would be appreciated
