Hi guys

In short, I’m thinking about getting one. My young kids are playing a lot more and seem to be getting in to it and my Iron Maiden isn’t really that family friendly!!!!!
So a couple of questions:

There’s one on eBay which is a very early first run. It still has the original lamp boards which concerns me. Is it a case of “when” and not “if” they break.
Does anyone know the ratio of ones that broke to those that didn’t.
Is there a catalyst for them to break.
This could be a make or break year for JJP. if they go tits up, are the boards gonna be unobtanium.

And lastly, is it a good game. I enjoyed playing it but that was years ago.

Thanks in advance
Gaz

Because I have had it for an eternity and the wife wants a new bathroom and I have zero attachment to any machine , so if I sell it and regret it I will get another one later . It’s an epic machine of epic proportions and in my word i have possibly owned it for longer than any machine ever ..
Anyway getting back to topic WoZ is amazing Gaz only game the Mrs actually liked.... get it you won’t be sorry

I think this is a make of break year for JJP - If I was you I'd put an advert up looking for one and see what happens and try and get it with the fixed boards already.

I think it's a case of when. I had mine for a year and lost 3 or 4 boards in that time . That's part of the reason I sold it. If JJP had designed the new boards when I sold it I would have demanded a whole new set, but they didn't come out til later. Still can't believe some people paid a pretty penny for them to fix a 12 month old, £6500 pin. The pin clearly wasn't fit for purpose leaving the factory and I imagine they wouldn't have a leg to stand on if you got a solicitor involved.

Not bashing JJP BTW, I'd buy a willy Wonka in a heartbeat if I had the cash. WOZ was probably my favourite pin

Thanks Jonathan. I’ve gone for the eBay one. Just have to suck it up buttercup if it breaks!! Sorry, when it breaks 😬

Lol. Yeah he’s done it to pee off the dozens but of time wasters who hassle him on a daily basis. We all know the what morons on eBay are like. He’s probably got Baz offering him £2k every day. The deal is done with us on that. Just waiting on Martin
