I moved an original wpc power board from a machine with a Rottendog mpu to a machine with an original mpu and it started to reset with both flippers when it was working fine before.
Is it possible the Rottendog mpu can cope better with 5v issues?

Dirty connectors/ pins may be an issue with the older kit. A minute loss of voltage caused by inefficient connectors is enough to trigger the dreaded 5v reset

I would try to clean up the old stuff. Very fine wet and dry paper. IPA.

I personally see Rottendog as a last resort.

@pinballmania is a guru on this, he knows the relevant connectors to focus on ....

I’ve checked all connectors and voltage at power board and mpu which is 4.972 and 4.952 respectively so tiny loss so not connectors.
It can be fixed and will be getting the parts just thought it was odd, it’s gone from a 2 flipper to 4 flipper machine.
Was just interested to know if the Rottendog mpu was less fussy with the 5v.
