Wanted 5V 5A Regulators...

Afternoon

Ok - i'm looking for a couple of 5v 5A voltage regulators at a reasonable price

These come in various guises.... LT1003CK/LM78H05K/IP3R18K-05.... and look something like this....

Anyone got any spare that they fancy selling??

i.e.. shipped from China.

I have two already on their way from Singapore, however i am acutely aware they probably aint genuine (even though it says it is!)..... I can get them from the UK (RS), however at around £20 a pop.....

You are absolutely right @Paul. Didn't pay attention to the delivery date...

Filter by UK and/or EU, delivery is usually fast.
(it goes without saying that if I had some spares I'd have simply chuck them in an envelope for you )

Thats the 1.5A Flavor tho, instead of the 5A. It seems there is ONE 5v regulator in the entire machine (drops a 10v line down to 5v ), and thats on the CPU of all places. I have one that seems to o/p low, and the other o/p high!

It seems the H in the part number is important in this case!

Better if it is NOS, as many new parts are now Chinese fakes these days, that can only handle 20% of their rated load

Exactly - hence why i'm happier to find some NOS. The ones from singapore state "original", however how "original" that is, is yet to be seen lol
