Hi

Anyone bought any back glasses from Coos in the Netherlands. the glass thickness he uses is 5mm. New Forest pinball don't do trims for 5mm. They sent me one to try but it was too thin.

My glass size is: -

Width: 697mm
Height: 635mm
Thickness: 5mm

Spoke to Andy and his are 3/16 - 4.76mm. Starting to wonder if i have bought a glass that i will not be able to fit...

Where did you get your metal trims from for the back glasses you bought from Coos? Did you get 3/16 to fit at a pinch?

cheers.

Forget it sorted!

Coos does different thicknesses - I think he aims to do it as per original thickness, I got 2 from him - one thick and one thinner. They both matched the thicknesses of the originals.

Andy just put a calliper on his 3/16 trim and it measure more than 5mm internally, so i may be okay.

Yes, appreciate that. The thickness of his glass is the same as my original. For your thicker one did you just order standard 3/16 glass trim? What did you use to to stick the glass and the trim together? I have just ordered a very thin double sided cello tape.
