Hey techies,

Existing GnR spotlight assemblies are made of cheese - had servos fail but now my assembly brackets have fell apart.

Anyone with a 3D Printer willing to give this a go?

Obviously happy to pay for services rendered.

Needs to be in either PETG or Nylon for strength.

Here are the files:

Hinge (check the comments on the link for the 2 correct files)

Additional:
There is an issue on GnR where the ball gets stuck behind the pops.
This small piece solves the ball hang up:

Thank you :)

I’d be happy to give this a go on Monday to see how they come out
Cool, much appreciated sir ☝️
From the comments of the 1st link (hinge)

Hey @David retro
Did you have any luck matey with the 3D print
Cheers
I’ve been trying a few different trials of the part the orginal file seamed very flimsy
I’ve been doing some slight adjustments to get it correct before printing off a few as required
Do you have a photo of the part to send me for scale as well as to me the part seams super small
Many thanks
David

Perfect thank you for the above pictures I will keep trying to get this to come out perfect first few attempts as mentioned the file dosent seam to be strong enough even in a strong filament

Many thanks for your efforts.

There are a few failure points on the assembley.
Highlighted in yellow where my ones failed, the lugs the screws go in to disintegrated which is common occurence.
