Many MPU boards used in Bally/Williams machines suffered from leaky battery damage which require extensive repairs or replacement.
I’m one of those people who prefers my machines to look as original as possible – so I produced these replacement MPU boards. The design is as close as possible to the original – with the same components, design, layout, copper traces and filled zones. The new board is shown below (left) next to a damaged revision D original board (right).

- All commonly replaced chips are socketed (U14, U16 to U20).
- SRAM chip U8 is socketed to allow fitment of SRAM or NVRAM. The boards come with SRAM fitted as standard – NVRAM available as an option when ordering.
- Battery clips are fitted as standard. You can fit batteries, NVRAM or connect external batteries to directly to the board (see below).
