Checking out this place - all i can say is "ultrapin eat your heart out". Plans and advice galore - all you would want to make your own machines!!

Reading the "batpin" one, The guy spent $3500 and ended up with an Awesome collection.



Just remember - as great as they look, and ideal for someone who likes lots of pins but hasnt got the space, they haven't quite got the feel IMO...

Not for me either, just like I'd rather have the orginal PCB's rather than MAME; but even more so. You can't translate the pure physicality of pinball, that's the beauty of it :-)
 
I'm not convinced they are any good (other than the looks). Every build i have seen of these cabs suffer terribly from input lag and i'm not sure that would be great thing for accuracy of shots. Love the look of some of them, but you just cant beat a real machine (or five). lol.



Would be great to see a 3DTV being used for the playfield and backglass. Might add that bit more depth to the games?
