As of the 1st of January the IFPA introduced a £1 fee per person (man, woman or child) for ALL events that wish to be registered, and thus be eligible for WPPR points.

Payment is made by the tournament organiser at https://www.ifpapinball.com/payment/

This will allocate credits to your account as pictured

You can add credits at any time, and they will be consumed as you submit results. (You can see I have added 28 credits for the 28 people who entered the Cracker yesterday.)

Of the money generated from the UK

10% goes to the IFPA for processing fees
5% goes to the IFPA WC expenses
15% goes to the ECS Finals expenses

These percentages are compulsory, and have been agreed by all of the countries directors.
This leaves 70%. Following discussion with the people who run the majority of the competitions in the UK it will be split as:

20% charity - the winner of the UKCS will be able to nominate which charity the money goes to.
50% goes to the UKCS finals expenses. This will include Prize money, trophies, refreshments, room hire, etc.

The money will be finalised/allocated in early 2024, based on the fees collected during 2023. (As a guide, during 2021 the fees collected were approx £2000 in total).

There will also be more details regarding the UKCS in a separate post in the near future.
