There seem to be a few folks around who've either got or owned a Bally Paragon, so I thought I'd create the BPFC - Bally Paragon Fan Club. Not just for owners past and present but for anyone who wants to express their love for one of the most beautiful and "brutally difficult" single-ball pinball machines ever made. Please feel free to add anything Paragon related: photos, videos, articles, links, news, auctions, etc.

Beautifully crafted and designed machine, absolutely brutal but brilliant game play, a classic in every sense of the word.

@Nedreud I'm very interested to see how your overlay goes, it looks great. My playfield isn't too bad, but depending on your results, it could be worth doing! What I really need is one for a Centaur, another brilliant game, but like so many Centaurs, my playfield is shagged

Sign me up Peter. Do we get a badge :D

Paragon gets more play than any other of my machines. It helps me practice the tap pass, absolutely vital to get those inline drops down. And with my skill level getting to 5x bonus and extra ball probably happens once every 50 games

My top score so far is this:

Go on Craig, how many times have you gone round the clock  ;).

Yup had one for a while, my 2nd game! Loved it! I even have the flyer still that you put in your first post as a momento. I loved it, but after owning one would not buy another, I had my fun and have moved on. Fantastic game that everyone should own at some point.

I love playing Paragon, and I remember playing it when it first came out as a teenager in the games room of my local Pub (when I was still too young to buy a pint inside)

I was so tempted to buy Archyta5's one when he was selling it a while back, but I have got a Harlem Globetrotters which is very similar in game play although it's not a widebody.

Love the artwork and layout of the game with the inline drop targets and the beast's lair.

Can feel this game reeling me in. I thought I'd have a job trying to emulate the flippers on this but going pretty good. Started off by trying to do that tap pass in video, still needs a bit of adjusting but so far so good.

Oh, that really is very good!

I believe @Matt Vince still has his Paragon for sale: http://www.pinballinfo.com/community/threads/various-machines-for-sale.11575/

It was at this year's South Coast Slam. Matt originally listed it for £695 but posted just this afternoon on the Yahoo! UK Pinball Group that it will be going to eBay soon.
I keep changing my mind!! I don't want to sell it but need funds for my house move, I'll probably let either HS2, Corvette or Flintstones go first as they are easier to replace!
