I found this whilst scouring the internet for any information about restoring aprons. It seems aprons are regularly over-looked and the only common fix is a full decal. I bought a full decal from Classic Arcades, Inc., and was totally unimpressed. I wanted to find a technique that would reproduce the painted and screened appearance of the originals. To me, this guy has pretty much nailed it!

Hello all you little post for a specified method finally my method to restore the apron pinball has 80/90 50/60 years of any brand confused by it all begins

once sanded apron I apply a rust phosphating well known to collectors car or motorcycle http://www.entretien-moto.fr/chassis-ca ... nt-272.htm Then paint, for this I use two brand Liquitex and Montanacolors two different products but to me complementary in their teintes.Liquitex with a palette of more than 100 colors and 88 mtn .The Liquitex paint you need a polished finish while the non Mtn.

For drawing I made so sticker cutting plotter resulted unparalleled only closes the colors a little demo on apron of Canada dry (I think this is the K2kl )
For info on the sticker there as a blur this is normal and this film transfer stickers
